Urgent pls share the information

Hi,

Since there were some questions regarding the final report/essay. I had a look at some of the essays of Group F and E. I do not want to make comparisons but group F have got the point right. Please, the steps that you had to elaborate every week were supposed to help you with the final report.
In order to provide arguments for your choices when you taught a class, you need the background information, (the steps) so that you can write about your experience as teachers.

Below you also have a link where you can read the report that a student wrote. It can be an example or refer to some of the reports of group F. I do not want to mention specific names as I do not want to discourage the others.

Conference Reflections

Hi everyone,

I am also assigning myself with the task of writing some reflections in relation to the 2nd Junior Conference that was organized by the English Department.

I am pretty sure that the majority of the students would have preferred to have been there and listened to their friends present and be proud of them. I know that you are all working and for some of you was impossible to make it. However, I am going to share with you some moments to give you an idea of how everything went. Still, it is not the same!

They were happy in the end when everything was over. Even though they a big smile in their face it was not like this when it all started. Some of them were rehearsing, some were making their final adjustments, some were busy with the sound and some others wanted to look smart and had their "hair" done. But they all had the same goal, they wanted to succeed and show to the rest that we can do it. Indeed they succeeded in it!

While they were presenting, as if they had done it all their life, everybody in the room wanted to say out loud "they are my friends", "they are my students", "I used to teach her ...", "he has always been a good student" etc. These were the phrases and sentences that everybody was saying while listening to the presentation of MY students. They were all so proud that they wanted to claim a part of their contribution.

Holding the deliverables and showing to the rest that we can also do sth useful!

Confident and clear about what they had created!

Very competent when operating technology!

Today, your friends and my students today showed the others that we can all succeed if we put some efforts and if we enjoy what we are doing. And in the end, we were all happy and enjoyed the results of our work.

Hi,

I know you have all been very busy with presentations and assignments. In the middle of all this work, I did not realize that we are slowly reaching the end of our subject and that means the end of the assignments.

This week's assignment means that you have already finished your project and the reflections about it. Some of you have already finished their presentations so it is easier for them to write about it.
The report or the essay (as you wish to call it) is based on the steps that you have been working on every week and the project that you prepared and presented.

You should put all the pieces of the puzzle together and write the report/essay with the structure that we normally write e formal piece of writing (introduction, the body of the work and conclusions).
Since you have been working for it every week now you have to put them together and finish your report/essay.
It is not supposed to be a description of what you did in the classroom as I have already seen it, I would rather prefer to read your reflections about the work that you have done (the unseen). That part which has been behind your work, the rationale and the reasons behind every step or action that you made.

This week you have to find a peer to review your report, that means a friend from the class but not your partner. I would like all of you to write next to your name the peer review partner. After you have chosen him/her then you send them the report so that they can read it and send it back to you. In the folder in the Dropbox, you do not have to upload anything yet. As soon as you finish the report upload it in the dropbox and the partner that you choose will download it and with track changes will review the report.
During the week your partner, after reviewing your report/essay uploads it back but with his name as it is his/her assignment.
And then the last week of school you should have your reports/essays ready.

A quick reminder for your Blog posts

Hi everyone,

Just a quick reminder about your posting, since you were excused only for one week (when you worked on your interactive PPT) and for the rest of the term.
The other weeks are supposed to continue according to the class schedule which you have received from the beginning of the course and it is still published on the class website.
I was talking to some students and they told that I had not published any topic.
It is true and it was on purpose since you told me that it was too much for you reading and doing assignments and posting. Therefore, I did not provide you any additional materials to read but there are plenty of issues to post a reflection about.
The whole subject is meant to be for self-reflection and you are doing a lot of those lately while you listen to your friends' mock teaching and providing feedback.
You can either reflect on some elements or some apps or some programs that you have come across while working on your projects. The subject is so broad and it integrated both the language and technology skills thus you should not struggle with finding any topic for the reflections.

For group E the deadline will be postponed for tomorrow night and for Group F it will continue with the same deadline.

Tomorrow at 5.30 we are meeting with the groups that are presenting during the Junior Conference. Students of Group F who are working on their projects, please join us.

I was meant to post you earlier this week but sometimes we are allowed to get sick and that has happened to me during the holidays, using them in a constructive way, not to take any time off while I am teaching.

I checked your Padlet posts and saw a variety of articles and videos that you have all chosen about the topic of PBL. We will work again on a PBL task on Monday during the lecture so please bring your computers. 

The webinars below are supposed to be your lecture for this week since we could not meet physically we can still have a class virtually. Based on the frequency of your topic I have chosen for this week two webinars.
