The first thought that came in my mind was that todays generenation knows to much. You might think that you give them new information but they are a step ahead. To be a teacher is diffucult and needs a hard work and a lot of effort. Expectations of students have changed they need more and more information and not letting without mentioning internet. They want safe websites and a lot of information combined with mew methods.
This child and all the children around the world are becoming addicted to technology. This child seems to be anxious and he has problematic behaviour. We can see that on the way he talks about technology. He seems to lack interest in other activities and other ways of learning. The only language he uses is technology.
Well,there is a huge question regarding use of technology in teaching process. We can't be teachers of these ages and just skip use of technology on our lessons. We are impaired with some skills needed it, but here is a thing: we cannot always count on the effectiveness of such tools and we certainly need a plan B; another reason for "justifying" our little use of technology is considering our infrastructural conditions. Do we offer opportunity for their use? In reality, things seem not that positive as we might wanted to.
You can never be a techonology teacher if you do not know how to use internet. It is also a job and it asks for a lot of effort and time knowing how to use different websites and use them in your classroom. Internet can never be a safe place because students can often be under cyber attack who want to steal your data or your work. The generation that is going to be our students are always a step ahead because they already know to use internet, as teachers to be we should be aware of this fact and try to improve ourselves.

This post made me angry because as a teacher to be I don't want to use only the technology or the books.
I want to be able to use both of them.
As a video this brings to my attention what is the future going to, the internet.
I think that he is testing us with what he is saying,just wanting to know our reaction to this video.
I would like to thank you whoever made this video because it has already changed what I thought I would do as a teacher.

The video made me feel very uncomfortable. I am aware the kid was directed to act the way he did, but I felt like I was being judged by a spoiled 6 year old kid who doesn't know what is good for him yet. Having a teacher to teach you how to use a computer and the internet is not a preparation for the world the kids will have to live in.
YES, it is important to be technologically literate, so you are not outdated, but let's not make a mountain out of a molehill. Eventually everyone in the world will know how to use the internet, including teachers, but that doesn't mean teaching our students using technology, for the sake of the new era that is coming, or because that is the way they like to, will benefit them.
Having watched this video, I think that the relationship of the current educators and technology is very strong.
The educators of information age who cannot use the Internet might face such problems with their pupils . I don't think the Internet is only a fad because of its great expanding usage worldwide.

In this century we are living and the next to come to know how to use the technology is a must. I think teachers should be aware of the new and modern ways of teaching. Students are becoming more and more technological,they find it an interesting way of learning the usage of different programs and apps in the classroom.According to me if the teacher doesn`t know how to use the computer and programs which are important to help students to learn better he is a step behind them and should adapt to the new times.
After watching this video, I felt a little bit scared. I understand that there are so many little students like him who think the same, that I as a teacher won't be able to prepare them for the world they are going to live.
I believe that technology cannot be effective in the classroom without teachers who are knowledgeable about both the technology itself and its implementation to meet educational goals. But on the other hand, while technology use in the classroom is increasing, improving learning through its application should remain the goal, and I hope that in the future technology isn't going to replace the teacher.
The child is really challenging us with what he is saying.I was wondering whether I can really deal with teaching in the future or not because as the child said technology is not only internet. However,I think that we can be good educators even in this information age because we are learning great things on how we can make use of technology in our classrooms.I am still excited to learn new things about technology and make the learning process interesting.
technology has an important role in teachng. Teachers should be updated with all the latest metodes.But the age of the students is important becouse we cant learn childrens to use just technology but also their mind. Also ,teachers cant always count on the technology becouse they should focus on NEW IDEAS on THINKIG of the students.Teachers should use technology but to be used t some extend.
I think we as future teachers, can not escape the digital reality that our generation has created.In my opinion this is the voice of the future calling for help.We should enter the digital jungle before children do. If we don't know how to use internet we can't help them grow safe in it.
At the beginning it seems the aim of this video is to demotivate us.I was deeply engaged so much that I even questioned myself if i would be able to become a 'real driver' of the teaching process.Today, we mostly think of technology as computers, but it is much more than that.It has blended with teaching as with all other professions.Maybe its difficult to be involved but 'I am ready' to complete my future job.
This video is the best way to show of how much technology and especially internet has effected children and the way they see learning nowadays and also the teachers who teach them. To be sincere the kid is being a little bit rude towards teachers and their capacity to use computers but I am aware that he is only a representative of all his friends who are “conquered” by computers. Technology is a great tool but only if you use it in the right way!
First things first, I am in awe by this video and the fact that I thought of it in terms of a scary video, but my judgement changed after watching the video twice. At times this lad seems to be suspicious and sometimes he seems to ask for help making all teachers–to-be responsible for what they know and how they are going to incorporate internet in their future classes. The real question that raises from the depths of this video is: How able is the future teacher to handle the usage of internet and its incorporation in the class? Sometimes just the creativity of the teacher without the proper usage of technological devices is not enough.
This kid ,in a way,implicates the desire of having a teacher just like he wants to. Nowadays,kids /pupils or even students want to learn from the best in order to be the best. I would like to spread this video and raise the awareness. We can’t escape from the world of technology. We need technology but technology doesn’t need us.
This video of this kid is a clear demonstration of the importance of Internet in their lives. After I watched this video I realized that today's pupils hope of their ideal teacher are all interrelated with this new era of Technology. Having been born in this world of Online Information , pupils hope that their teachers will somehow respond to their needs and understand that being their educators is not that simple as just to teach them something new about the lesson. For these pupils the importance lies on the degree of integration that this teacher will show , so as not to think that today's educators aren't adaptable with this era. All in all , I think that Internet is not a FAD because it has became such an immense and daily part of our lives that we are getting used to live with it. So , for the pupil in the video and for all of us who were born in the Era of Internet , the former is not a FAD , but is part of us. So , teachers , adapt to our lifestyle.
Internet is an excellent source of informaton not just for the students but for the teacher as well. Teaching and the internet has become conservative now. This video also shows that every teacher should combine both the way of teaching through books and the internet as well.
In this video we watch a little boy who has a lot of questions about online teaching . I do not agree with online teaching . Children / Students would not be safe teaching online because at the same time they can open other harmful sites and nobody is there to control them . Another thing I want to mention is that through this way of teaching students have no face to face interaction and they can not share their opinions or ideas about lesson . Furthermore through online teaching they are not going to understand logical answers of the exercises .
Teachers of today,have to know how to use the technology and according to this video it's a must for teachers.If you don't know how to use a computer,if you are frightened of integrating technology with the lesson,you can't call yourself a good teacher of this modern time when all the people use the technology all the time and have become addicted to it.If you don't use the technology be sure that you won't grasp their attention and you will be boring and monotonous doing the same thing everytime ,in a boring place such class.
being a teacher is not about engaging our students with technology and using it as a tool to teach. Technology is not always the answer. I, personally, do not believe in using digital technology and the fact that everything is going to be easier. It takes a bit of extra time even though it is a kind of challenge for both, the teacher and the student. I know that this is what we, as future teachers, are supposed to do but I can surely say that I am not ready for this.
